About the apprenticeship

At ENCON you learn bricklaying on real residential projects – not in a training hall. You work in a team from day one, take on responsibility early, and see at the end of each day what you have achieved. Vocational school and practical work alternate in blocks.

Your responsibilities

Building masonry and walls from a range of materials
Concreting foundations, floor slabs and structural elements
Plastering and screed work on new builds and existing stock
Renovation and modernisation work on Berlin period buildings
Reading and implementing construction drawings under the guidance of experienced colleagues

Your profile

At least a Hauptschulabschluss (lower secondary school certificate)
Practical aptitude and genuine enjoyment of physical work
Reliability, punctuality and team spirit
Good German language skills
Ideally some prior work-experience on a building site
